As a result from participating in classes regularly over a couple of months she noticed her orthopedic pain was slowly diminishing. This prompted her desire to learn all about the Pilates method, thus entering the Pilates Comprehensive program at the College of San Mateo. Pilates is now her favorite class to teach. She believes this exercise system not only improves strength, flexibility, and posture, but it enhances mental awareness and decreases stress. Her advice to students:

  • Make fitness a priority. Make the time!
  • Vary activities between aerobic conditioning, strength training, and flexibility.
  • Incorporate a practice of Pilates into your exercise repertoire.

Be consistent and stay focused and you will reap the health benefits and have fun at the same time!
